CloudFest Hackathon 2026
Yoast is excited to sponsor and participate in the CloudFest Hackathon 2026, where open-source innovators come together to build real solutions for the future of the open web. Hosted at Hotel Krønasår at Europa-Park, this event combines deep technical collaboration with an inspiring environment designed to spark big ideas.
Participants are invited to work on solutions across hosting, cloud infrastructure, content management, developer experience, web standards, accessibility, security, and next-generation web technologies, including AI-enhanced solutions for the open web.
With Leonidas Milosis as one of the project leads, the Yoast team will work on the Universal Access Browser Extension, an AI-driven accessibility project. Using structured data and AI-focused technologies (NLWeb and Schemamap), the extension introduces a conversational interface that lets users navigate pages with natural language commands and smart visual adaptation that restructures webpages based on schema.org entities like Products, Recipes, and Articles, removing clutter for a clear, accessible experience.
